“I was diagnosed late Dec 2017, & med-free by April 2018. Now it’s been 5 months med-free, going on 6. I’m glad I was able to make the switch to supplements & diet change. I’m thriving thanks to natural treatment. I think our mental health field needs some serious changing. I believe so many bipolar people are on disability due to their meds and its a shame. Five months may be a short time to be med-free, but I went my whole life undiagnosed, so I know what it was like to feel all the bipolar symptoms and can honestly see the natural treatment is working great.”

“I was such a skeptic about this magnesium deficiency thing, and I’ve been dealing with anxiety on and off for nearly 30 years. I didn’t want to take drugs. But after a friend told me about a medical doctor’s blog about natural remedies, I checked it out and now take one of her liquid magnesium supplements. I swear it has all but done away with my anxiety. Leading up to the holidays I was so busy I didn’t stop to take it and I felt the anxiety creeping back in so I’m back on it now. The best money I’ve ever spent and the best anxiety relief I’ve ever experienced in 30 years.”
“I am healed. I have tried antidepressants but they did not work after my divorce. I realized I had to grieve the end of my marriage and my former life, and then I could move on. I also embraced a spiritual life, affirmations (I AM LOVED), regular yoga and meditation and inhaled a plethora of self-help/spiritual books. Over time, I have healed my depression (which I’ve had since childhood) by becoming more of who I am meant to be. P.S. Antidepressants definitely helped me in the past, but this time around they didn’t, so I tried other ways to heal.”
“I was on medications for various emotional disorders most of my life mainly because like most people, I didn’t know their were alternatives because unfortunately, it’s not discussed in the medical field. By my mid-30’s, I was desperately looking for alternatives because I was about to be put on even more meds for depression and anxiety but I was tired of dealing with the side effects.
Fortunately by chance, someone introduced me to a whole new world of amino acids and natural vitamins that have not only helped me, but have been able to help me within the same day of taking them instead of waiting sometimes weeks like with many medications out there. I have never felt this kind of relief and mental well being this easily and quickly. You don’t have to suffer anymore! You don’t have to just accept that this is the way life has to be anymore. Believe me, I went through life for far too long thinking that the unnecessarily negative thoughts and feelings of sadness were just a part of life. It doesn’t have to be like that if you are suffering from depression or other feelings that are negatively affecting your life.
My hope is that people are able to become more and more aware about this alternative approach to mental well-being because there are a lot of people unnecessarily suffering out there when they don’t have to. Real help is out there.”
“I struggled with depression and anxiety my entire life, but in my mid-20s,
it became incredibly severe. I sought help from a therapist and a
psychiatrist, and between the two professionals, I was given 10 different
diagnoses, including bipolar type II, social anxiety, agoraphobia, and
others. Throughout my treatment, I tried many different psychiatric drugs,
but the three I was on most consistently were generic versions of Zoloft,
Lamictal, and Xanax.
In just a year and a half, the side effects of the medications became
unbearable. In that time, I gained 60 pounds and completely lost my energy
and zest for life. My mood flatlined and my creativity and libido
vanished. After making a decision to taper off the drugs, I accidentally
discovered the healing power of diet and the connection between mental
health and nutrition. By following a paleo diet and using targeted natural
supplements, I have regained my health and happiness, and I’m now thriving
— no meds, no symptoms, no side effects. The story we’ve been told about
chemical imbalance is false — mental health isn’t “all in your head,” and
physiological (body-based) imbalances can have a profound effect on mood.
I’m living proof that natural interventions like nutrition can completely
change your life. Your diagnosis isn’t your destiny.”

“For me, the key to overcoming debilitating panic has been a combination of cognitive behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, a few incredible books, a whole foods diet rich in organic veggies and fruits, proper supplementation, balancing my hormones, yoga, meditation, exercise, getting out in nature as much as possible and also sharing my story with others. It takes a ton of patience and a lot of kindness and understanding towards yourself.”

“I experienced depression and anxiety beginning as a young child. I have a family history of mental illness, addiction, and suicide. When I was 19, I was put on the pharmaceutical drug Prozac, and shortly thereafter I attempted to take my own life. This was enough for me to realize that I did not want to take medication. However, I knew that I needed to do something proactive to heal.
Over the next 20 years, I read everything I could get my hands on about how to heal depression and anxiety naturally. It was difficult to find others who were interested in the subject, and even more difficult to find practitioners who were willing and able to help with alternative methods. I learned that if I was going to heal, I needed to do it myself. I used a wide variety of methods to heal. My favorite healing modality is amino acids because they are fast acting and have no side effects. Now I teach others how to heal naturally without medications. My depression turned out to be a wonderful gift that now allows me to help others.”
