“I experienced depression and anxiety beginning as a young child. I have a family history of mental illness, addiction, and suicide. When I was 19, I was put on the pharmaceutical drug Prozac, and shortly thereafter I attempted to take my own life. This was enough for me to realize that I did not want to take medication. However, I knew that I needed to do something proactive to heal.
Over the next 20 years, I read everything I could get my hands on about how to heal depression and anxiety naturally.
